Kevin and Jackson were fantastic last weekend at the 2010 Mid-Atlantic Hopper Challenge. In the top photo is Jackson during the second WOD on Saturday – as many back squats (225 lbs.) as possible in 3 minutes. Kevin is in the bottom photo during the first WOD – 30-20-10 of Wallballs and Hang Power Cleans (95 lbs). The third WOD of the day was a fast and easy 500m row followed by 44 Double-Unders (fast and easy if you’re good at rowing and double-unders, that is). Sunday started out with a nice little triplet,

AMRAP in 7 minutes of 5 Push Jerks (135 lbs), 12 Kettlebell Swings, and 7 Burpees, which, like all the other WODs, turned out to be harder than it appeared. In the final results, Jackson came in 33rd and Kevin came in 17th out of the 82 men who competed. Congratulations guys – you busted your ass this weekend and did a great job. In honor of Kevin and Jackson’s efforts this weekend, we’ll all get a taste of some of the fun in today’s WOD.

Make sure to check out the other photos from this weekend in the Photo Gallery. The entire results from every event will be posted on the CrossFit BWI website soon, I’m told.

Great job gentlemen! You’ve both trained hard for this. (Kevin- I fully support your choice of UMD t-shirt. I’ll split the burpees with you.)

Good work guys! I agree w/ Justin…225# backsquats sounds awful.
