Of course, the secret to getting great results are directly tied to the intensity you bring to your workouts: the harder you work the better you’ll get.
Some people aren’t interested in pushing the physical limits of their bodies on a regular basis in the unrelenting pursuit of the level of fitness displayed by the athletes who compete in the CrossFit Games, and that’s fine. You are under absolutely no obligation to train like your life depends on it – it’s up to you to determine how much benefit you’ll receive.
It’s like my dad says, “if a little is good, a lot is better.” Perhaps not the best philosophy in some areas, but it definitely applies when it comes to fitness.
So before your next workout, ask yourself how much better you want to become, and then act accordingly when the timer starts. How much better you get is entirely up to you.
