It’s 2016, and with the exception of the past few days, this is the first time in history that has ever happened. I’m sure you have a long list of things you’re absolutely, positively, definitely going to do THIS year, and it’s time to get to it. So let’s talk about it a bit, shall we?

What do you want for yourself this year? My job is to help you with the fitness-related items on that list, but I’ve found that everything is related, directly or indirectly, to your fitness. Your health, attitude, appearance, happiness, job performance, sex life, confidence, mental clarity – everything can be made better when your fitness improves.

All you have to do is come into the gym and be 1% better today than you were yesterday. And I have a guarantee for you too – if you come into the gym, do the best you are capable of, make yourself 1% better than you were yesterday, and you do that everyday, 3 months from now you will be granted super powers and join the Justice League.

Ok, not really, but when you get another Personal Record (PR) on a lift you’ve been working on or you take two minutes off your favorite benchmark, all because of your commitment to be just 1% better than yesterday, you feel like a superhero.

And remember, tomorrow you’ll be 1% better than you are now.
